As embarca\u00e7\u00f5es percorreram as partes leste e oeste da regi\u00e3o ant\u00e1rtica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Leandra Gon\u00e7alves, ligada ao Greenpeace e uma das autoras do estudo, diz que foram encontrados &#8220;restos de materiais de pesca, muitas caixas pl\u00e1sticas e micropart\u00edculas pl\u00e1sticas&#8221;. As sacolas, diferentemente do que ocorre em outras regi\u00f5es, n\u00e3o foram vistas em grande quantidade. Os resultados foram aceitos para publica\u00e7\u00e3o na revista Marine Environmental Research em maio e ser\u00e3o divulgados na edi\u00e7\u00e3o de agosto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">O texto diz que, de 69 itens vistos pelo MV Speranza, 43% eram materiais pl\u00e1sticos. No caso dos 59 itens observados pelo navio RRS James Clarck Ross, 41% tamb\u00e9m eram pl\u00e1sticos. Com isso, a vida selvagem &#8211; peixes, golfinhos, focas, le\u00f5es e elefantes marinhos &#8211; fica mais vulner\u00e1vel.
